How to Update Your Comic Book Blog With Relevant Content

From time to time, it is good to see if your site is performing the way it is supposed to. Making a habit of checking up on it once a month or week to see what the reaction is will help you decide what efforts are worthwhile and what efforts are just plain lousy.

EXAMINE YOUR SITE FOR NATURAL FLOW

Here are my top 4 posts based on Reader Flow Through Rate:

https://www.discipledeep.com/comic-book-creator/

Last week I did an article on how to retain reader loyalty using the new Flow Tool in Google Analytics. I found out I needed to fix 2 articles to either narrow down the people coming to my site or get them to stay around longer. No one wants you to waste their time, and you don’t want people coming to your site who have no interest in what you have to say.

GET REALLY SPECIFIC ON YOUR KEYWORD USAGE

I updated these articles with specific keyword language. My first 2 posts were pretty generic, Overcoming Limitations, and Increasing Value. That is too vague, so I added the words Comic Book to both of these posts, that should knock me into a whole new set of search criteria.

LINK RELEVANT CONTENT IN A NATURAL FLOW

The second thing I did was link my good posts together, so if someone like Marketing Comics, maybe they’ll like to be a good Comic Book Creator. and get more value from my site and be able to build a relationship.

OFFER YOUR OFFER

The third thing I dd was add a link to my free training page, so that if they are coming here for good information, I may as well link them to the best stuff I have.

We’ll see what this changes in the next months ahead.
