If you have to work really hard at learning a new idea or a new skill, it probably isn’t going to be your best career path. You want to pick something that will flow into your skill sets easily. It will be a lot less work for you and you will make more money doing it.
Social media has given a new face, a new voice, and a new hope to shy creatives that used to sit in the back of the room and doodle on their sketchbooks. In building new found relationships, you should value the RELATIONSHIP as the prize–not the means to attain the prize.
LESSON THREE: THERE IS OFTEN TIMES BIGGER CHICKENS TO CATCH. CATCH THEM.
LESSON TWO: YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE TRENDS AND TIME YOUR ACTIONS ACCORDINGLY.
So you shut up, put the nose to the grind stone, and crank out a stupid product because you’ve always been told to satisfy the client. The problem with thinking is that you are satisfying the wrong client.
You will never “win” at anything if you don’t know the rules in which you play the game. I don’t want you to follow someone else’s rules.
